BVA & CREDIT RETRIEVAL
Bethel Virtual Academy has built-in credit retrieval. Students are enrolled in self-paced classes and as soon as they are finished with one, they can enroll in the next course. Almost all courses being offered every trimester and self-paced allows students to earn back credits quickly.

- Must be a minimum of 16 years old
- Provides high school completion, GED, and training for job skill areas, certification, and job placement services.
- Program begins with a strict 30-60 day ‘boot camp’ style program

- Can earn up to 8 credits in 5 1/2 months
- The WYA is a division of the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. State-run residential and post-residential program for 16-19 year olds who have dropped out (or at risk of) dropping out of high school
- 3 phases: Pre-Challenge (2 weeks), Residential (5 months) and Post-Residential (work with a mentor for 12 months+)

- Classwork that helps prepare for the GED exam
- Courses include writing, mathematics, reading, history and science
- Classes meet for 5-12 hours per week and are available mornings, afternoons, or evenings
- Classes are offered at the Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup campuses
