Advisory is where the ASCA Mindsets & Behaviors curriculum (see below) is provided. Advisory is mandatory and all students attend Advisory class one day per week.
Students should use the knowledge they gain from the Advisory curriculum to inform their course choices during high school. Also see High School Course Planning for additional resources.

Helpful Tools: SchooLinks
SchooLinks is an online program that students will utilize throughout their four years at BVA. It contains assessment tools, detailed career profiles, and comprehensive post-secondary information. SchooLinks allows students to research their career and educational interests and understand how they align with the courses they take at BVA. Students work with their advisors during Advisory to navigate SchooLinks and utilize its many features to create a post-secondary plan.
